THE UNIVERSE

In this dark chapter of human history, a region of the globe was tormented by war.

The UNITY faction had extended its power over the Great Continent, all of whose territories it had annexed following the capitulation of its former adversaries. The roots of the conflict that had pushed UNITY to conquer the Great Continent were gradually forgotten as the battles and the years passed.

The defeated peoples only grudgingly accepted the new established order. UNITY ruled the population with authority and its totalitarianism weighed heavily on the bodies and minds of the subjugated citizens. The military industry was at full capacity and the ranks of UNITY's various armed forces were reinforced by imposed enlistment. All of this suggested that UNITY's expansionist thirst was not yet quenched and that it would soon cause new conflicts to break out on the borders of other continents.

At the same time, violent uprisings were taking place in all four corners of the Great Continent. Increasingly structured separatist clans were fracturing the heart of UNITY by taking back fragments of territory from UNITY control. The separatists were fighting to regain their former independence. Thanks to their determination to block the invaders, and benefiting from the support of the border continents, they managed to unite under the same banner: THE ALLIANCE.

The turmoil of this troubled era was the beginning of a conflict on a global scale.
